One mulch pile to go!! Yay!!

Great effort everyone!

MEGA MULCH & TRENCH DIG – WE NEED THE MULCH GONE NOW WHILE ITS SUNNY SO WE CAN START BUILDING OUR DECKING FOR THE OUTDOOR LEARNING AREA!
(meet in carpark of childcare Centre Yatama St) BYO water, snacks, closed shoes, gardening gear if you have – wheelbarrow, shovels, rakes, gloves. No experience required.  Children welcome under parent supervision

Thank you so much for getting us this far… we STILL have a bit to go, and need YOUR HELP!

A huge thank you to all the parents and children who have been working on the kitchen garden project, (some of whom have been continually helping out for 2 years – from the planning and organisation required to submit the school’s application, to helping out in the garden week after week and backing up to help out also with fundraising and special events) so the school can build these fantastic facilities which will be used by the whole school for both the KG program and everyday classroom use!

These facilities will be one of kind on the Northern Beaches. Your ongoing commitment and support is very much appreciated!

We would love some more helpers to come on board to even out the workload.  If gardening’s not your thing, please consider assisting with sponsorship, grant writing, special events or volunteers. The more help we get – the faster it will grow and benefit our children! If you haven’t yet had the chance to check out the plans, please take a look at them in either Kemprbidge or Yatama offices and you will see the project is far more than a school “vege
patch”.  The program will have numerous benefits, not only middle school, but the whole school and community in general.
