We are almost there and are into the final stages of building our amazing kitchen and canteen, which should be ready Term 1, 2014!!! Next Stockland PR/Fundraiser – Sat 7 July

Our next Stockland PR/Fundraiser is on Saturday 7 July.   Calling one and all for whatever time you can spare on the day will be much appreciated (hopefully with no sports on this day you might have an hour or two to spare?) Please email to get your name on the roster. All kids that came along to our last day had a ball, and were terrific ambassadors! Corporate Volunteering Day


Corporate Volunteering Day – coming up Friday 29 June. If you or your company would like to come along and help out on this day in the school garden at Yatama St, please  email asap. The more the merrier!

Seed planting using egg cartons

SRC Plant A Seed Day – Wed 27 June


SRC are holding a “plant a seed” buddy day to raise money for the kitchen garden project.  The egg carton will be used to plant the seeds and will be taken back home to be looked after until the seedlings are big enough to either plant in the school garden or sell at an upcoming fundraising event. All students are asked to please bring a gold coin donation on this day (or 2) and remember to bring in an empty egg carton to school for this!

One mulch pile to go!! Yay!! Great effort everyone! MEGA MULCH & TRENCH DIG – WE NEED THE MULCH GONE NOW WHILE ITS SUNNY SO WE CAN START BUILDING OUR DECKING FOR THE OUTDOOR LEARNING AREA! (meet in carpark of childcare Centre Yatama St) BYO water, snacks, closed shoes, gardening gear if you have – wheelbarrow, shovels, rakes, gloves. Stocklands Seedling Success


Seaforth children and parents ran a PR/Fundraising stall at Stockland on Saturday 26th May, selling beautifully potted Winter herb & vegetable seedlings (thanks Meg, Tina & Margaret for potting up 400 seedling!) and raffle tix. We had the first appearance of the BIG CARROT fundraising signage which looked great! Thanks to Paul Carpenter for helping out with artwork & printing of this. Garden Shed - Thanks to Project Local

Garden Shed installed – thanks for your vote!


We now have our garden shed installed onsite at Yatama St!  It looks fantastic.  Thank you to Project Local and all the parents and friends who supported our school’s application by voting.  Now we just need to fill it up with class sets of tools! Before school broke up in December,  Seaforth kids were very excited to bring home their very own basil plant, to water and watch grow over Summer… and this is just the beginning!
